Simply click ‘Book a room’ to get to the online booking system and register to book. If you’re having any trouble with that, just get in touch and we’re happy to help.

Yes, you can book in pairs or in a group if you want to move in with friends and group bookings can be completed online. One member of the group just needs to register and when asked to ‘create a group booking’, give the group a name and log in. Complete everyone’s personal details and then pay the booking fee. When done, the rest of the group have 24 hours to register, select ‘join a group booking’ and pay their booking fee.
To secure your room you only need to pay the booking fee, which you’ll get through the online booking system. This becomes your damage deposit in case of any mishaps while living with us. The booking fee is non-refundable, but you’ll get it back at the end of your stay if nothing is owed for damage or outstanding rent. Deposits are fully secure by the ‘Tenancy Deposit Scheme’.

Moving in

A few weeks before arrival, you’ll be invited to book a move-in slot by your Accommodation Team. This can be booked via our student portal once we’ve let you know check-in slots are available.
On booking, you can see whether your flatmates are male or female, what year they’re in and where they’re studying. We don’t give out names for data protection, but you can always use the Skyline Facebook page to find your flatmates before you move in.
Skyline has superfast broadband and you can usually connect using an Ethernet cable which you plug into the network wall socket in your room. We also have a wireless network covering the whole building. On arrival, simply connect your devices to the network. Bandwidth and other information is provided in your Tenant’s Handbook on arrival.
Sorry, we don’t allow pets of any type at Skyline.

We want you to love your time living with us but there may be times when we don’t always get it right. We take all complaints seriously and will try our best to fix any issues first time around. If you need help and advice about how to make a complaint, please take a look at Fresh Student Living’s Complaints Procedure.
Occasional overnight guests are allowed in your rooms, but we just ask that you check with your flatmates first to make sure they’re ok with extra house guests.
Your student room and any shared areas within your apartment will be spotlessly clean when you arrive, and we have complimentary cleaning in all common spaces throughout your time with us.
Log an issue on our Student Portal and our team will resolve it as soon as possible.

Moving out

Your studio or cluster room will be fully inspected at least three times during your tenancy. We’ll keep an eye on cleanliness and check for damage or missing items. After each inspection we’ll tell you if any charges will be made to put something right, and you’ll be invoiced immediately for recharges after the first two inspections and on the final inspection a deduction will be made from your deposit. The cost of recharges for cleaning, damages and missing items can be found in the Tenancy Handbook.
No, your room is yours for the whole of your tenancy, and you’ll only need to move out at the end of the agreement.
We do our best to offer summer student accommodation extensions. Contact the Accommodation Team at your chosen accommodation to see what they can do.
Your deposit is registered with a Government-approved Tenancy Deposit Scheme. As long as your room is clean and nothing is missing or damaged from your stay, we’ll aim to get your deposit back to you within 10 working days.

Being social is at the heart of Skyline, and all our communal spaces have been carefully designed to create a real sense of community and give you the chance to meet new people and bond with your flatmates and neighbours.
To make your Skyline experience the best it can be, we host events and socials throughout the year. From welcome parties to pizza nights, we have loads going on to help you get to know other Skyline residents. Join the Skyline Facebook group to find out about any upcoming socials or to connect with other residents.
Our Accommodation Managers have an open-door policy inviting students to pop in and speak to a member of staff if they have worries or even just fancy a chat. The Management teams complete external training each year with our Charity partner Young Minds to give them a greater awareness of detecting symptoms of mental health issues and the skills to support positive well-being.
